Stop Asian Hate :Allan Zhao

1)Earlier this year, the Stop Asian Hate Movement was held in the USA due to the terrible Atlanta shooting case where 8 people were killed, and is believed to be an anti-Asian hate crime.

  Why would people hate Asians? Why would someone shoot someone else just because of their skin colour? Or is it just the Americans as always?

2)Ever since the pandemic started, certain media on the internet have already decided to spread rumours like “China created the virus”, and people seem to believe anything they see, and people do not like China.

3)Looking at the second half of 2020, the pandemic largely affected the world. People in the USA and more have suffered poverty and joblessness during the pandemic, but China on the other hand, have already recovered a lot from the virus, and almost everything is back to normal. Why is this important? MORE FAKE NEWS!

4)Back to the shooting case, a man ran into the metropolitan area of Atlanta and shot 8 people to death, and “coincidentally” 6 of those people happened to be Asian women. It sounds disgusting, but it is also somewhat understandable. Going back to 2020 again, Sir. Donald Trump repeated China Virus in front of hundreds of cameras as usual, and Mr. Long who did the shooting, lived on $200 benefits and sat in front of screens for at least half a year as usual, and even more sad, Mr. Long possibly isn’t the only one...

5)Everyday, Mr. Long, the shooter wakes up, just to find out that he is left with no more money. He had used all of his savings, just to find out that he has to skip three breakfasts today and he can’t go to work because of millions of COVID cases in America. Looking at his phone, he sees all these tweets on Twitter saying that China created the virus, so he lifted his gun and decided to kill people.

6)But is it only the Americans? No, there’s a lot more people that needs to go back to kindergarten and get re-educated because of how stupid, racist and rude they are. Ever since the pandemic started, Canada had a 717% increase in anti-Asian hate crimes, and in Australia, nearly ⅕ of Australian Chinese have experienced some sort of physical abuse or verbal abuse, well, kindergarten welcomes you.

7)But after all, none of these are what we want, no one wants a worldwide pandemic and lose their mother, no one wants to be shot just because their skin colour happened to be purple, no one wants to be blocked by 7000 people just because they accused the BBC for making fake news and I believe that every race should be respected.

Allan	My name is Allan and it is of Old German and Gaelic origin, meaning “precious”.   Two famous people with my name are: Allan Carr who produced the famous  movie “Grease” and  Allan Marques Loureiro who plays in Brazil National Football Team as a Midfielder

	I created this avatar on My Blue Robot and I made it look like this because nothing else looks better and this kind of looks like me. I didn’t bother choosing any background because I’m fine with white background.   I chose black as the colour of my shirt because I do wear black clothings a lot and sadly there weren’t any eye shapes with only a line because my eyes are TINY.
Books	My favourite books are the Harry Potter series.   I like to read on my bed and I have this very bad habit of drinking while reading.   The last book I read (while writing this) was ‘ The Book Thief’. It is a very good book but the vocabulary in it is quite confusing for me, especially the part where the author splitted the story into two points of view.   My advice would be to place your bookmark one paragraph or verse in front of where you are right now so you get a better idea of where you’re up to .
Strengths	I am good at appreciating beauty and excellence because I congratulate other people’s achievements instead of being jealous of them.   I am also good at social intelligence because I don’t enjoy arguing and I understand that no matter what you do, you are just a huge garbage truck with different types of trash in you.   Love of learning is also one of my strengths because I always enjoy learning new useful knowledge.
Treasures	The important people to me are my mom, my little sister and my friend because they always help me and support me. The things that I appreciate are my devices, my keyboard and my plushie toys that I owned since little.
A bad memory  and a good memory	A bad memory that I have was at the time of the Mosque Shooting, we were doing PE in the hall at that time and stayed in there for 4 hours due to the lockdown, everyone kept quiet for the first hour and the girls started crying, my whole class remained in the hall until 6pm, no one had any sort of devices, no one knows what exactly happened and everyone was at misery.(At the end we started watching Wall-E)    A good memory that I have is when I traveled back to China. I ate lots of food with my mom side family and it was a very nice time.
Relatives	I live with my mom and little sister at New Zealand and since I came from China, we always fly back and visit our family in China.   My mom have 3 siblings and when we fly back we always head to my uncle’s / my mom’s brother’s house and we stay there for the holidays.
Future	When I grew up, I want to be a teacher because I saw those videos with disabled kids and I just kinda wanted to help those sort of people.    But before I officially become a teacher, I’ll definitely have to go study more so in the meantime I might just find part time jobs for the money.
Goals	Challenge   This year I want to be involved more because in the past I’ve only been involved with things like maths competitions. Achievements   I want to do heaps more work than back at primary!!!! Responsibility I will try and do all of my work in time. Empaphy I need to hold back my anger and be nice to EVERYONE.
